November 20, 2023November 8, 2023Davao City Veterinarian’s Office conducted a free castration event in Brgy. Gatungan, Bunawan District.The event is part of promoting the benefits of NEUTERING to control the dog and cat population and prevent unwanted litter as part of the Intensified Rabies Control Program. The Davao City Veterinarian aims to strengthen the neutering service for the public. Post Meat Establishment Control and Monitoring
October 23, 2023October 22, 2023 Post Meat Establishment Control and Monitoring conducted Oct 22, 2023 by CVO’s Meat, Livestock and Fish Inspection Division Meat Control Officers and Meat Inspectors at Marfori Bangkerohan and Bangkerohan Public Market, Brgy. 5A, Davao City resulting to the confiscation of more or less 54 kilos of assorted pork meat and offal’s in violation of RA 9296 (Meat Inspection Code of the Phil as amended by 10536). The said confiscated meat were disposed and condemned at Malagos, Calinan District, Davao City. Police blotter was lodged at San Pedro Police station. Moreover, other areas monitored were Mintal, Relocation, Catalunan Pequeño, Matina Pangi, Bankerohan, Marfori, Agdao and Guzman St. Poblacion. With a total of 29 meat establishments , issued 2 Final warnings and distributed 12 IECs.... Read more...
