Post Abattoir Monitoring conducted January 21 & 22, 2023 by the Enforcement Team of Meat, Livestock and Fish Inspection Division .

A total of 219.95 kilos of pork meat and lechon were confiscated in Bankerohan Bridge and Brgy. Talomo ( 158.28 kilos) and 3 lechon houses in Chavez St. (61.67 kls) in violation of RA 10536 (Meat Inspection Code of the Philippines) and City Ordinance No. 0291-17 Series of 2017 The said confiscated meat were condemned and dispose at Toril Slaughterhouse, condemned pit blotter were also lodge in Sta. Ana, San Pedro and Talomo Police station. Establishment monitored 8 lechon houses and 30 meat stalls 24 IEC Materials were also distributed to meat vendors and lechoneros.
