The Davao City Animal Disease and Diagnostic Laboratory of the City Veterinarian’s Office conducted an Information Education Campaign or IEC on Rabies and Responsible Pet ownership in different schools in Davao City.
- MAPUA Malayan Colleges on March 18, 2024 with Free Consultation and Anti-Rabies Vaccination,
- YMCA Institute of Arts and Technology Corporated in Brgy. Bangkas Heights of Toril District,
- Josefa Llanes Escoda Elem. School on April 12, 2024,
- Maa Elem. School on April 19, 2024, in Brgy. Maa, and
- Jose Bastida Elem. School in Brgy Dumoy, Talomo District on April 26, 2024,
- Matina Aplaya Elem. School on May 3, 2024 and
- Matina Central Elementary School in Brgy. Matina Crossing, Talomo District on May 10, 2024.
Furthermore, DCADDL also conducted IEC in Deca Talomo of Brgy Baliok Talomo District, Davao City on May 18, 2024.
Information Education Campaign is part of the Davao City Government’s efforts to disseminate information and educate the public specifically on Rabies.
