The Animal Health Disease and Control Division of Davao City Veterinarian’s Office conducted a monitoring for ASF (African Swine Fever) and AI (Avian Influenza), surveillance and geo-tagging in Barangay Malagos of Baguio District, Barangays Tamugan and Marilog Proper of Marilog District Davao City.

Swines/Pigs, Goats, Poultry, Cats, Dogs and Ducks were monitored, and geo-tagged. All animals are apparently healthy. The monitoring includes backyard and stockyard farms of Marilog District in Davao City.

Moreover, the AHDC of City Veterinarian’s Office conducted Anti-Rabies Vaccination in the Deca Homes Subdivision of Barangay Bago Gallera in Talomo District. The community / residents were given flyers and city ordinance as part of IEC (Information Education Campaign) of the City Government of Davao through City Veterinarian’s Office.
